Dr. Bright completed his undergraduate studies at the University of North Florida here in Jacksonville. While earning his degree, he served as a volunteer dental assistant at the Sulzbacher Center for the homeless and as a math and science tutor for children living at the center. It was there that he realized his career interest in dentistry could be combined with his passion for helping children.
Graduating magna cum laude from UNF with a BS degree in Biology and a Minor in Public Health, Dr. Bright went on to earn his DMD from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. He then pursued two additional years of specialty training completing his Pediatric Dental Residency at the University of Kentucky Hospital where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Bright has extensive training and experience with children that have special healthcare needs, anxiety and sensory processing demands.
Dr. Bright is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association and the Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
He and his wife live in St Johns County with their two children, Harrison and Amelia. The Brights love exploring the outdoors, traveling and spending time with family and friends. In his spare time, Dr. Bright enjoys a good tennis match and playing experimental chef with new foods and recipes.
